Scans
My scanning work focuses on structural verification and deformation analysis across shipyard assemblies, and critical structural components. Using Leica MS60 total stations and AT403 laser tracker systems, I can capture high density point clouds to recreate as-built geometry and identify deviations from design.
I process and analyze this data in SpatialAnalyzer, where I establish reference frames, perform alignments, and compare scanned geometry directly against CAD models or control points. This allows me to produce legible deviation reports that support quality control, troubleshooting, and engineering decision-making.
While scanning is not a daily task in my role, I am typically brought in for high-priority deformation checks and verification work where accuracy and time matter most.
