NSMV – Accuracy Control
Supported dimensional control across all construction phases for five vessels while developing and implementing standardized accuracy procedures that improved build precision throughout the program.
ACADIA – SRIV Rock Laying Vessel – Accuracy Control
Provided dimensional control and alignment support during construction of the SRIV rock laying vessel for offshore wind turbine foundation work. The project required verification of tight-tolerance rock laying equipment, complex hull geometry, and precise control during float-out and re-landing operations (a first for the department) demanding careful reference management and continuous accuracy monitoring.
USS McCampbell – DDG 85 – Layout and Draftsman
Served in a layout and drafting role during the two-year overhaul of the USS McCampbell. Supported structural repair and replacement work by interpreting job specifications, performing field measurements, drafting inserts and other structural components, and generating material take-offs and bills of materials for fabrication and installation.
Ruby Princess – Layout
Provided layout and drafting support for time-critical structural repairs, performing field measurements and drafting replacement components to meet aggressive schedules.
USNS Guadalupe – Draftsman
Drafted fabrication-ready shop drawings from field measurements for structural repair components and inserts.
USS Miguel Keith – Draftsman
Converted field measurements into detailed shop drawings to support structural repair.
USNS Mercy – Welder
Supported structural repairs through fabrication, fit-up, and welding of shipboard components.
USS Thunderbolt/Tempest – Shipfitter
Supported structural repair work through layout, fabrication, and fit-up of shipboard components.
LHA 6 – USS America – Shipfitting Helper (Early Career)
Supported structural fabrication work as a shipfitting helper during construction activities on the LHA-6 project beginning in 2009.
